The Madness Behind The Maddness
Born in a small town in Kansas, I've been creating all of my life. I have been writing ever since I wrote my first "book" when I was six years old. When I started writing for my high school paper, I was asked to also take on graphic design and photography duties for my column "Famous in My Own Mind" that I ran for two years until my graduation. . In 2017, I received a Bachelors Degree in Journalism with a minor in visual media, a concentration in online video, and an emphasis in public affairs from Hastings College. Today, I'm still writing, designing, and editing videos together for the entertainment of all my friends and family.
I won the 2015 Nebraska Collegiate Media Award for best music video for my self-directed/produced/edited video "Mercenary" by Panic! At The Disco.
I am completely self-taught on graphic design with only one course of "intro to graphic design" under my belt from my senior year of college that I took to fulfill graduation credits.
I was an accomplished fast-pitch softball pitcher for 15 years, earning All-State for the 5A Front Range conference my senior year of high school.
At VidCon 2016, I had the opportunity to work with Philip DeFranco through the Creator Mentorship program on improving my YouTube channel and learning how to thrive on the platform.
